Roof Maintenance Checklist

A roof inspection checklist helps property managers, facility teams, maintenance staff, and roofing contractors check the visible condition of roof surfaces, drainage, flashing, penetrations, access points, safety features, and signs of water intrusion during routine inspections, seasonal checks, storm follow-ups, or post-repair reviews.

This checklist is useful for commercial buildings, apartment complexes, offices, schools, hotels, warehouses, retail sites, and managed residential properties. It helps identify damaged roofing materials, clogged drains, ponding water, loose flashing, roof leaks, debris buildup, unsafe access, damaged gutters, and defects that require repair before they lead to interior damage.

With TARGPatrol, roof inspections can be completed as scheduled digital tasks or route-based maintenance checks. Inspectors can scan a QR code at the access point, follow the checklist on-site, attach photos, record issue locations, set priorities, create work orders, and track corrective actions until the roof issue is resolved.
