Fire Door Safety Checklist

A fire door inspection checklist helps facility teams inspect fire-rated door assemblies, including door labels, frames, hinges, latching hardware, closers, seals, glazing, clearances, hold-open devices, signage, and egress paths.

This checklist is useful for building managers, safety officers, maintenance teams, and fire door inspectors who need to identify damaged components, missing labels, blocked doors, failed self-closing mechanisms, excessive gaps, and other deficiencies that may affect life safety.

With TARGPatrol, fire door inspections can be completed in a mobile app with photos, comments, issue locations, corrective actions, and final sign-off. This helps document inspection results, assign repairs, and maintain a clear digital record for compliance checks and safety audits.
