Water Leak Inspection Checklist

A water leak inspection checklist helps maintenance teams and property managers check visible leak sources, affected rooms, plumbing fixtures, appliances, HVAC equipment, roof leak signs, window areas, basements, drainage points, moisture damage, mold risks, and temporary control measures.

This checklist is useful for apartments, commercial buildings, offices, rental properties, hotels, schools, warehouses, and managed facilities where leaks need to be detected and documented quickly. It helps identify active dripping, wet ceilings, wall stains, damaged flooring, leaking pipes, appliance leaks, clogged drains, standing water, musty odors, and areas that require urgent repair.

With TARGPatrol, water leak inspections can be completed directly on-site using a mobile checklist. Inspectors can attach photos, record the suspected source, mark damage severity, assign corrective actions, create work orders, and track follow-up until the leak is contained, repaired, and verified.
