Emergency Lighting Compliance Checklist

An emergency lights inspection checklist helps facility teams, safety officers, property managers, and maintenance contractors check emergency lighting units, battery backup, charging indicators, test buttons, light heads, mounting condition, wiring, visibility, and exit route illumination.

This checklist is useful for offices, apartment buildings, schools, hotels, warehouses, healthcare facilities, retail sites, parking facilities, industrial buildings, and other managed properties where emergency lighting must support safe evacuation during power loss or fire events.

With TARGPatrol, emergency light inspections can be completed as scheduled digital checks or route-based safety rounds. Inspectors can scan QR codes near emergency lighting points, attach photos, record failed tests or damaged fixtures, create work orders, assign responsible users, and track corrective actions until the issue is resolved.
