Parking Lot Safety Checklist

A parking lot inspection checklist helps property teams check pavement condition, parking lines, traffic signs, accessible spaces, lighting, drainage, pedestrian routes, fire lanes, landscaping, loading zones, EV chargers, and general site safety.

This checklist is useful for property managers, facility teams, safety officers, maintenance staff, and retail or office site supervisors who need to identify hazards before they affect visitors, employees, or vehicles. It helps detect potholes, faded markings, blocked fire lanes, poor lighting, standing water, damaged signs, trip hazards, debris, and accessibility issues.

With TARGPatrol, parking lot inspections can be completed in a mobile app with photos, comments, issue locations, corrective actions, and final sign-off. This creates a clear digital record of parking lot condition, reported defects, temporary controls, and completed repairs.
