Elevator Maintenance Checklist

An elevator inspection checklist helps facility teams, property managers, and service technicians check the visible condition, safety, accessibility, operation, cleanliness, and service readiness of elevators during routine walkthroughs, maintenance rounds, tenant complaints, or post-repair checks.

This checklist is useful for apartment buildings, offices, hotels, schools, hospitals, retail centers, warehouses, parking facilities, and other managed properties with passenger or service elevators. It helps identify door issues, unusual noise, poor leveling, damaged buttons, lighting problems, blocked access, expired permits, communication failures, cleanliness issues, and defects that require technician follow-up.

With TARGPatrol, elevator inspections can be completed as scheduled digital checks or route-based service tasks. Inspectors can scan a QR code near the elevator, follow the checklist on-site, attach photos, report defects, assign priorities, create work orders, and track corrective actions until the issue is resolved.
