HVAC Preventative Maintenance Checklist

An HVAC maintenance checklist helps facility teams and service technicians inspect heating, cooling, ventilation, filters, vents, coils, condensate drains, ductwork, electrical connections, refrigerant lines, motors, safety devices, and overall system performance.

This checklist is useful for offices, apartment buildings, hotels, schools, warehouses, retail sites, commercial facilities, and managed properties where HVAC failures can affect comfort, safety, energy use, and daily operations. It helps detect blocked airflow, dirty filters, water leaks, unusual noise, overheating signs, refrigerant line issues, poor heating or cooling performance, and equipment that needs service.

With TARGPatrol, HVAC maintenance can be managed as scheduled digital service rounds. Technicians can open the checklist on-site, add photos, record readings, mark defects, assign priorities, create work orders, and confirm that cleaning, repairs, or follow-up inspections have been completed.
