Generator Maintenance Checklist
A generator inspection checklist helps facility teams, property managers, maintenance staff, and service contractors check standby or backup generators, fuel supply, batteries, controls, alarms, cooling, exhaust, transfer switches, enclosure condition, and visible safety issues.
This checklist is useful for offices, apartment buildings, hospitals, schools, hotels, warehouses, data rooms, retail sites, industrial facilities, and other managed properties where backup power is critical for safety, continuity, security, and essential operations.
With TARGPatrol, generator inspections can be completed as scheduled digital checks or route-based maintenance tasks. Inspectors can scan QR codes near generator equipment, attach photos, record readings, report defects, create work orders, assign responsible users, and track corrective actions until the issue is resolved.
