Medical Assistant Orientation Checklist

Medical Assistant New Hire Checklist is a structured onboarding tool used to make sure a newly hired medical assistant is properly introduced to the clinic, receives the required access and training, and is prepared to begin work under the expected standards. It covers the full first-stage onboarding process: pre-start preparation, first-day orientation, access to systems and tools, safety and infection control briefing, workflow introduction, shadowing, supervised practice, communication standards, and initial readiness review.

In TARGPatrol, this checklist can be used as a mobile onboarding form for supervisors, trainers, or clinic managers. Each step of the new hire process can be confirmed directly from a smartphone or tablet with checkboxes, comments, scores, and photo attachments when needed. This helps turn onboarding into a documented and consistent process instead of relying on verbal instructions, scattered notes, or informal follow-up.
