Clinical Competency Checklist for Nurses
Nurse Competency Checklist is a practical tool for evaluating whether a nurse is ready to perform daily clinical duties safely, consistently, and according to internal standards. It helps supervisors assess core competencies such as patient assessment, medication administration, infection prevention, documentation, emergency response, communication, and compliance with clinical protocols.
In TARGPatrol, this checklist can be used as a mobile competency assessment form during onboarding, probation review, periodic certification, internal audits, or retraining. The assessor can record pass/fail results, add comments, attach photo evidence, and document specific development gaps directly from a smartphone or tablet. This creates a clear and structured evaluation process instead of fragmented paper notes or subjective verbal feedback.
