Reports
Reports turn task, checkpoint, user, Location, Incident, and check-in data into operational evidence. Use them to review execution, compare teams or sites, investigate exceptions, and prepare information for clients or audits.
Open a report
Open the TARGPatrol Web App.
From the top menu, select Reports.
Choose the report view that answers your question. Each report keeps its own configurations and History.
Choose the right report type

Build a report
Select the date or range in the toolbar.
Choose Day, Week, Month, Quarter, or Range.
Select a saved configuration, or leave No configuration selected.
Select Build report.
Complete any required steps, review optional settings, and build the report.
Quick flow: a complete saved configuration can run directly from the toolbar. With no configuration, or when required information is missing, Build report opens the setup dialog at the relevant step.
Report setup steps
Date period — required. The interval can be reused; the actual selected dates apply only to this run.
Report options — shown when the report needs a user or supports detail grouping.
Columns — required. Search, add, remove, and drag columns into the required order.
Filters — optional. Narrow results by the filters available for the selected report.
Sorting — optional for reports that support predefined sort fields.
Review — verify the effective parameters and optionally save or update a configuration.
Report-specific requirements
By Actions requires at least one currently available action column.
User Timesheet requires an active user.
By Points, By Users, and By Locations can group detail rows by an interval available for the selected period.
Task search is available in By Tasks and works together with filters.
In By Incidents, select an Incident Type before Category so only valid Categories are shown.
Columns, filters, and sorting
Available fields depend on the report. The selected column order is used in the table and export. For reports with grouped details, only top-level columns are edited; detail columns are added automatically when detail grouping is enabled. Leaving optional filters empty includes all data the current user is allowed to access.
Understand the generated result
After a report is generated, a compact row above the table shows its build time and effective parameters: period, timezone, configuration, report options, columns, filters, and sorting. These values come from the generated report, so they remain accurate when the report is reopened from History.
Open a previous report
Select History.
Choose an item by its report period and build time.
The saved result opens with the exact parameters recorded for that build.
Export a report
After a report with data has been generated, select Export and choose Excel or PDF. Export is available on paid plans. Large exports may continue in the background; the completed file can be opened from Notifications.
Troubleshooting
Build opens the dialog: no saved configuration is selected, or a required parameter is missing.
A saved column is unavailable: the underlying action or field is no longer available. Review Columns and save the corrected setup.
The report is empty: widen the period or remove optional filters.
Export is disabled: build a report containing data and verify that the organization is on a paid plan.
