📱 TARGPatrol Mobile 1.6.0 — New Features & Improvements
We’ve released TARGPatrol Mobile 1.6.0 with a range of new features designed to improve reporting, field communication, and operational visibility.
🎙️ Audio Notes
Users can now record audio notes when creating Issues or adding comments to tasks, issues, or check-ins. Audio can be recorded online or offline and played back directly in the app, making it faster to report situations from the field.
📍 Virtual Points for Check-ins
Check-ins now support Virtual Points, allowing users to confirm visits without QR or NFC scanning. A new screen helps users select the correct point and shows how many times each point has been visited.
🗺️ New Map Functionality
A new Map screen provides better visibility of operations by displaying:
all types of points
gps logs
tasks associated with points
This makes it easier to understand activity across locations.
🏷️ Tags and Organization Improvements
Tags can now be edited or removed across tasks, users, locations, checklists, points, and issues. This gives teams more flexibility in organizing and filtering operational data.
📄 Issue PDF Export
Issues can now be exported as a PDF directly from the mobile app, making it easier to share incident reports with managers or clients.

⚙️ Profile & Organization Management
The update introduces new screens for Billing, Organization Settings, and Profile editing, allowing users to manage notifications, organization ownership, and account settings directly from the mobile app.
👮 Guard Issue Reporting
Guards can now create issues and leave comments directly from the mobile app, improving communication between field staff and management.
⚡ Other Improvements
Improved sync queue for tasks and GPS logs
Completed check-ins immediately appear in dashboard statistics
Added active check-in counter in the bottom navigation
Improved map editing for points in locations
Support for location plans without placing points
